Independence
FightAnnex is an independent site. It is not affiliated with any sanctioning body: not the WBC, the WBA, the IBF, the WBO or the IBO.
Their names, belts and emblems belong to their respective owners. They are named to say where each ranking comes from.
FightAnnex receives no money from any sanctioning body, promoter or betting operator.
Where the data comes from
- RankingsThe official publications of the five sanctioning bodies, collected regularly; the date of the latest collection is at the foot of every page. When in doubt, the sanctioning body's own publication prevails.
- FightsThe WBC and BoxRec schedules; results and records from BoxRec, the WBA archives and Wikipedia.
- ProfilesWikidata (age, height, nationality when known).
- OddsThe Odds API, on the English pages only.
Collection is automated and can be wrong. An error on a profile or a ranking? The “Report an error” button at the foot of the page in question tells us straight away what you mean: the team checks, then corrects. For anything else: Contact us.
Credits
Photos
Wikimedia Commons, under free licences (Creative Commons, public domain). The author and the licence are written under each photo, with a link to the original.
Illustrations
The mascots Monsieur and Madame Stickman, who stand in for a missing photo, and the drawn belts were made for FightAnnex.
Fonts
Bricolage Grotesque (The Bricolage Grotesque Project Authors) and Barlow (Jeremy Tribby), under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Content ownership
FightAnnex's texts, layout and illustrations belong to it: ask first before reusing them. Photos stay under their original licence; rankings belong to the sanctioning bodies that publish them.
